What is the Applications Section?

Programs are getting bigger and better. There are now many different types of ways that a person can interface with technology. When a person does so they are using an application. Through Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Robotics, Machine Learning (ML), Optimization, and many more.

Why be interested in Applications?

Applications solve real-world problems. This is the whole reason why people use computers! After all what good is a computer if it can't solve a problem? Applications allow people to solve problems and use technology as a tool to maximize and entertain our modern world. Imagine if we live in a world without smartphones. Every time we wanted to take a photo we would have to take our handheld cameras out, or even have a portable flashlight. Luckily that isn't the case but we have we these applications that allow us to use these tools that apply in real-life situations. A lot of these tools speed processes up significantly.
